Sustainabilility vs. Green wash?
Dear S-CO2DE teams,
You are most probably working very hard on your assignment for presenting your excellent ideas for improving the sustainability of concrete structures.
As jury we are really looking forward to reading your posters and watching the videos.
We will judge on 5 criteria:
Originality
Feasibility
Impact
Time to implement
Economy
It is your task to try to convince us that you score high on all these aspects. Of course, if you can come up with quantitative numbers and real evidence to prove that your idea will change concrete construction in the future then it will be easy to get my high score!
If we focus for instance on “impact”. We all know that there are numerous products on the market that claim CO2 reduction, but that actually are not. They are just “green-washing”.
We are sure that you will not let us down and that you will come up with real improvements of the sustainability of concrete structures and the proof that you are not just green-washing.
